Our story started all the way back in 1948 when William Ondrasik started selling hardware out of a modest retail storefront in the heart of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania He founded his business on strong principles of unwavering customer care and dedicated local service. As the Montour Hardware Company matured through subsequent decades, individuals and corporations bred loyalties to the dependable inventories and unrivaled service the Montour Group proudly delivers to this day.

The hardware company welcomed booming success over the latter half of the 20th century, and the founders identified an ever-growing need for an industrial pipe, valve and fitting distributor dedicated to their loyal tri-state clientele. Glenn Ondrasik opened Montour Industrial Supply as a separate facility in 1995 to an overwhelmingly positive response. Within four years, the new branch moved to our current Second Avenue location boasting a 100,000 square foot warehouse and accordingly scaled-up inventory.

Montour Hardware Company still operates at its original post, commandeered by descendants of the late William Ondrasik. A mere few blocks away, Montour Industrial Supply continues to flourishes under Glenn Ondrasik’s leadership more than 20 years after its current location opened. Together, these operations complete a powerful, full-service supply house equipped to fuel all aspects of construction projects in the tri-state area and beyond.
